The University Symphony Orchestra performs with La Fabrique Opéra 4 stunning performances at Summum with Gounod’s Romeo and Juliet, the most famous love story in the world.
In 2020, La Fabrique Opéra continues its partnership with the University Orchestra for the 14th year. After the success of La Traviata in 2019 which gathered 10,815 spectators in 4 performances, Romeo and Juliet of Ch. Gounod will be presented to the public.
This famous love story, compound in French by the composer Charles Gounod, will amaze neophytes and specialists in an exceptional musical show staged by Gersende Michel, directed by Patrick Souillot, with choir, orchestra, and soloists.
Once again, more than 25 technicians, 30 volunteers, 70 musicians, 100 singers and professional singers will be involved for nearly 7 months alongside 450 young people from professional schools in designing costumes , hairstyles, make-up, sets and organization, to offer the public an exceptional show, recognized today as a highlight of the musical life of the whole agglomeration.
The opera 2020 will be the fourteenth edition of La Fabrique Opéra, which has already enabled neophytes to discover The Magic Flute, La Traviata, West Side Story, Don Giovanni, Aida, Nabucco, Les Contes d’Hoffmann, Rigoletto, La Bohème, The Traviata. It gathers 10,000 spectators in 4 performances, as well as 2,300 children from schools and 300 people in precarious conditions.

- Friday, March 27, 2020 at 8:30 pm at the Summum of Grenoble
- Saturday, March 28, 2020 at 5:30 pm at the Summum Grenoble
- Sunday, March 29, 2020 at 5:30 pm at the Summum de Grenoble
- Tuesday March 31, 2020 at 8.30 pm at the Summum de Grenoble
