On August 26, the Orchestra gave a great concert parade under the market hall and in the streets of la Côte Saint André as part of the Great Equestrian and Musical Parade scheduled for the Berlioz Festival. A free outdoor concert.
A great orchestra gathering musicians and choristers from everywhere
Especially for this concert, the Orchestra offered to all musicians and amateur singers to join a large Berliozian orchestra, during a condensed rehearsal session at the end of the summer holidays.
5000 to 6000 spectators in the streets of La Côte Saint André.
The Orchestra gave two performances of this concert on August 25th at the Villefontaine Shopping Center and August 26th in the streets and under the grand market hall of the Côte Saint André. 5,000 spectators along the route and under the market hall attended this unique concert. The concert was about the sacred airs throughout the ages, starting with the great Berlioz Symphonie Funèbre et Triomphale.
