French Music – 5, 6, 7 December 2025

A program of French music from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, from Saint-Saëns to Poulenc, including Debussy, Satie, and Chaminade. Timeless masterpieces such as Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun and Danse Macabre, the famous Gymnopédies, combined with lesser-known but magical pieces like Poulenc’s ballet “Les Biches” and pieces for solo flute by Chaminade and Saint-Saëns.
